A sixty-year-old female comes to the GP for an annual check of her blood pressure. The blood pressure measured is 175/110 RR. The GP decides to prescribe medication to treat her high blood pressure. She comes back after three weeks and her blood pressure is now even higher (180/113). Because she also started to complain of back pain and a throbbing pain in the left flank, the GP decides to refer her to a gastroenterologist.
